CDFC was set up to meet local demands for a LGBTI football team based in Cardiff. Most major cities in the UK have LGBTI
teams, with many playing in the GFSN National Gay Football League. There is massive potential for a LGBTI football team to
thrive in Cardiff, and it's the Club’s aim to achieve full National League status for season 2009/10.
Dear gaybridgend.com membership,
THT Cymru are pleased to announced that the ever popular gay and bisexual men's 'Sex Course' is making it's way back to a venue near you.
The Sex Course for Gay and Bisexual Men
1 day - Saturday 24 November 2007 from 10am to 5pm at Canton House, Cardiff.
Book a place now!
The Sex Course is a one day free course where you will find out how your body works. It has been developed by GMFA and will be delivered in partnership with THT Cymru.
Unprotected anal intercourse is the major route of HIV transmission amongst gay and bisexual men, and many men have concerns about how risky oral sex is.
The course includes hints and tips on making sex both safer and more enjoyable and will help you to explore what you want from your sex life in a non-threatening, non-judgemental and fun space.
Who should attend?
The Sex Course is for you if you are a gay or bisexual man and want to:
- build your knowledge about how your body works;
- increase the knowledge and skills you already have to improve your sex life.
If you are interested in taking part in this event, please contact GMFA directly by following the link below.
Places are limited, so booking sooner rather than later is advised if you want to avoid disappointment.

I'm proposing to make a half hour programme for BBC Wales on gay rights, loosely tied to the 40th anniversary of the legalisation of homosexuality in 1967. One of the key issues I want to look at is homophobic bullying in schools, and I want to speak to people who have experienced this recently. I am particularly keen to speak to pupils who are still at school. Obviously for younger contributors we are happy to film interviews anonymously.
I am also trying to do a section of the programme on the aversion therapies that were used on gay men and women in past decades. I'm trying to speak to someone who underwent the treatment and is willing to speak to us about it.
I can be contacted on nick.skinner@bbc.co.uk or on 0788 3076705.
Thanks for your help
